★★★★★ “Easy to apply balm with a very mild pleasant scent, well absorbed and doesn’t leave any greasiness.” P Hoy · verified purchaser
Three ingredients. Nothing else.
Grass-fed tallow
Rendered slowly at low heat from Australian grass-fed beef suet, filtered until it is clean, pale and nearly scentless.
Beeswax
A small amount, so the balm holds its shape in the jar and sits on the skin without running.
Olive oil
Softens the texture so a pea-sized amount spreads across the whole face and melts in on contact.
No seed oils. No fragrance. No preservatives. No water, so nothing to dilute it.
A pea does your whole face
- Scoop a pea-sized amount with a clean, dry finger.
- Warm it between your fingertips for a second — it melts straight away.
- Press into damp skin after washing, morning and night. Use more on hands, elbows and lips.
It is concentrated. Most people use far less than they expect, which is why one 50g jar lasts months.
Most moisturisers are mostly water
Look at the back of a typical tub: water first, then emulsifiers, then a long list to keep the water from going off. Tallow balm has no water, so every bit of the jar is the actual product.
Tallow has been used on skin for centuries. We render ours slowly from grass-fed Australian cattle, add beeswax and olive oil, and stop there.

“Easy to apply balm with a very mild pleasant scent, well absorbed and doesn’t leave any greasiness, makes my skin feel supple. This is a natural product that I am happy to use.”
P Hoy · verified purchaser“I have now been using Aus Tallow for 2 weeks on my legs to moisturize very dry skin. In those 2 weeks my skin has improved greatly and now using it daily on legs face and arms. Very pleased with this product.”
Yvonne Toohill · verified purchaser“I have used other brand tallow but I have to say Aus Tallow is much better. I’m 70 and my skin is so soft and the wrinkles are less. Can recommend this product, and even better it’s made in AUSTRALIA.”

How long does a 50g jar last?
A pea-sized amount covers the whole face, so most people get two to three months from one jar using it daily on the face — longer if it is just for hands or dry patches.
Does it smell?
There is no added fragrance. Properly rendered tallow has a faint, neutral scent that disappears within a minute of applying.
Will it feel greasy?
Use less than you think. A pea-sized amount melts in and absorbs; if it feels heavy, you have used too much.
